Billing questions
How is the number of people counted?
By active people in your company. When you add or deactivate someone, your subscription updates automatically and Stripe prorates the difference on your next invoice.
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The 14-day trial of Essentials or Complete needs no card. Add one before it ends to keep the plan; otherwise your company moves back to Free and nothing is charged. Each company gets one trial.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. GST or HST is added based on your billing address, and your receipt shows it. You can add your business number at checkout.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from Settings › Billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
How do I pay?
By credit card through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
